>Rilg quietly shuffled up to join the group. He could sense the hostility
in
>the air and decided to remain silent for the moment. Hopefully, General
>A'amon would board shortly and distract everyone.

>General A'amon did enter then, with the airlocks to his ship cracking open
>with a hiss. First, two guards exited the ship and took up posts on either
>side of the portal. Then Tal A'amon himself disembarked from his ship,
>flanked by three members of his staff. It was easy to see why A'amon could
>maintain public popularity: for a well-fueled propaganda machine like the
>one he had, A'amon was an easy sell. Tall, handsome, and charismatic, with
>sharp intelligence in his gold-flecked eyes and the typical pale skin
offset
>by dark hair, the General looked quintessentially Venasian. His public
>relations department probably had an easier time counteracting the
>reputation of his family name than they thought they would.

>A'amon realized upon entering the docking area that he had walked into a
>meeting charged with tension. He recognized most of the members present
>from their holos, and judging by the physiological signatures and
pheromones
>raging through the air, at least one held a healthy dislike of the other.
>Interesting.

>He tilted his head in the traditional greeting. "Gentle tides, Admirals
and
>Ambassadors," he said, the standard Venasian greeting.

Watson stepped forward first, "General A'amon. Gentle tides to you as well.
I am Ambassador James Watson, please allow me to introduce
Commander-in-Chief Admiral Samuel Lasiter."

"It is good to see you again, General, and welcome to Spacedock. I hope your
trip was uneventful.", he said after a slight bow.
