Golan had already been picking over his salad while the others spoke.
Somehow, the whole conversation was representative of how his life was
lately. Everything was out of his control.  He picked up a napkin and  wiped
his lips before speaking.  "I would love to take such a trip to  Spacedock.
I will just have to make sure that everything is in order at  the office
before leaving." He glanced toward the Gul to take in his  reaction.

Legrath narrowed his eyes.  He was not pleased, but there was little he
could do.  While the Council would not go to war over this, it could  move
the Cardassian Union into some tough times if the members decided on some
sort of embargo.  Of course, there were a number of major powers without
seats on the Council: the Dominion, the Gorn, the Tholians.  The Venasian
participation is rumored to be precarious.  It is possible that an
alternative alliance could
be formed among them.

Valtris raised her glass of wine.  They needed to celebrate success.  "To
Professor Dulath's new life."

Rilg also lifted his glass.  "May he find happiness in the future."

Watson raised his glass, "Salute."

Valtris looked toward Doctor Nov.  "Does the professor seem like he is as
fit as the Cardassian doctor says?"

The Trill looked over to the Professor.  It gave her a moment to swallow the slice of tomato she had just inserted in her mouth before speaking.  "To be honest, much of what my colleague has described could not be evaluated by eye.  I would need to do some scans of him.  I have brought a medical tricorder and could do that whenever it would be convenient."
