Valtris looked toward Doctor Nov. "Does the professor seem like he is as
fit as the Cardassian doctor says?"
The Trill looked over to the Professor. It gave her a moment to swallow
the slice of tomato she had just inserted in her mouth before speaking.
"To be honest, much of what my colleague has described could not be
evaluated by eye. I would need to do some scans of him. I have brought a
medical tricorder and could do that whenever it would be convenient."
Valtris glanced toward the rest of the group. In theory, they could wait
for Golan Dulath to join them for the trip home, but she wanted to make sure
that they did the exam in case plans for his vacation fell through as the
result of some interference from the Cardassians. They always seemed to
find ways around problems.
