Valtris looked toward Doctor Nov. "Does the professor seem like
he is as
fit as the Cardassian doctor says?" The Trill looked over to the Professor. It gave her a moment to swallow the slice of tomato she had just inserted in her mouth before speaking. "To be honest, much of what my colleague has described could not be evaluated by eye. I would need to do some scans of him. I have brought a medical tricorder and could do that whenever it would be convenient." Valtris glanced toward the rest of the group. In theory, they could wait for Golan Dulath to join them for the trip home, but she wanted to make sure that they did the exam in case plans for his vacation fell through as the result of some interference from the Cardassians. They always seemed to find ways around problems. "No time like the present Doctor." Suggested Watson, "How about as soon as you are both done eating?" The Trill nodded. "That would be perfect." Valtris took a bite of her salad before turning to her Cardassian colleague. "It must be nice to be home for a while." Melora was caught off guard by what would be considered a friendly comment from the Klingon. She smiled as she placed her empty salad plate aside. "As you can imagine, it is always nice to be home. Unfortunately, I do not believe that we will be here long enough for me to do much besides the official visit." (Valtris/Anyone Else?)
The Doctor stood up. She had finished her salad and was ready for the
physical. She glanced toward Legrath. "Might there be a space where
this could be done in a llittle bit more privacy?" she asked. "I would be
more than happy to have your own physician join us."
Legrath nodded. It was a reasonable request. He waved his hand
at his own doctor and indicated that she should lead the group out.
The trio departed.
(Anything while they are gone?)
