Hello Greg, That would make sense, but our server is set to outright reject email connections if the email address doesn't exist (no bounce-back just a refusal during the smtp session). It's done that way so that we don't contribute to bounce-back spam.
I have noticed bounces going to our server, but those are from third party servers who get spam with a spoofed FROM address. Those servers unfortunately bounce the emails back to the From: or Reply-To: address listed (which sometimes consists of an email address on our server). ~ Bob Alanis Greg Cirelle Enterprises wrote: > The unknown (_none) is usually from bounces like undeliverable etc... > > Sam mentioned this several days ago > > probably you are bouncing mail back to junk addresses and that server is > responding to you > > just a guess > > > Greg Cirino > Cirelle Enterprises Inc. > 603-425-2221 > www.cirelle.com > > Why email when you can VideoMAIL? !!! > > Catch the Wave of the Future Now! > Video Email, Live Broadcast, Blog, Podcast > and more all in one Easy To Use Package > > Visit www.321vm.com to learn how! > > > _______________________________________________ spamdyke-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.spamdyke.org/mailman/listinfo/spamdyke-users
