This happened to me as well sometime on Saturday later afternoon, Eastern Time in the US. Ever since I started using the G1, I have been syncing from my Mac Address Book with Spanning Sync and having no troubles. On Saturday, I discovered that no longer was the "company" field appearing on my G1.
There appear to be no settings to which to map the different fields to correct the issue. And no longer is the Company name appearing in the absence of a regular name. Is this something I did or is the new version of Spanning Sync causing an issue? I honestly can't remember which I did first -- installing the new Spanning Sync version or discovered the error. But it's made this a HUGE problem for me. It appears as though I am not the only one! I am reluctant to do a factory reset on the G1 to see if that's the problem. It's just a pain to do it, and I'd hate to waste the day doing it.
