I have a brand new imac and ipod (got it mid October) and this was precisely the problem I had.
Well... one of the many... as I am also trying to run Outlook for mac - and sync services (from OUtlook to ical and to ipod did not work at all... might have fixed this but still not sure) I have worked around the contacts issue by exporting/importing these - so they ended up in ical and on the ipod. However I assume this means I am still not really syncing contacts - as all I have done was export/import them to Ical/ipod once - so they will not update (I tried - they don't) Question: I assume I should still perform the fix you recommend as this will give me contacts sync - but: When performing the fix - will all my calendar entries double?
