Hi,

As long as the sync between iCal and Outlook is working, then you
shouldn't be experiencing those problems.  If that's the case, the
next time you notice something like that, immediately create a
troubleshooting report (Advanced-> Create Report) and email it to us
at [email protected].  Please include a detailed description of
the problem.
