I think a committee of people would be the best way forward....

So far people who have expressed interest are :

Ray (to a degree)
Myself
Geoff (migration expert ;-)
Shawn

Hi Ray,

I certainly would be willing to help with the cause but I think that Tim and
Macromedia would have to give something with it etc.... i.e. The hosting of
the site, a potential bugbase application and / or the details and docs
etc... of Spectra as a product - as without this its just an already built
app, website (and database) with no real direction.

That sound, count me in for anything you decide to move on with......

So, I asked this yesterday, and I'll ask again - if Macromedia were to
give the community a copy of the SpectraSource web site (and database),
would there be people interested in help running it? Would someone be
willing to host it? And would someone be willing to admin it? As you
know, I used to run the site, but I certainly can't promise any help
again (although, at a minimum, I could help w/ setup and instructions).

I have talked w/ Tim Buntel a bit about this. I'm certainly not in a
position to make any promises for MACR, but I think if there _was_
interest, and if yall _expressed_ it nicely (grin), it may help the
cause a bit.
