So, I asked this yesterday, and I'll ask again - if Macromedia were to give the community a copy of the SpectraSource web site (and database), would there be people interested in help running it? Would someone be willing to host it? And would someone be willing to admin it? As you know, I used to run the site, but I certainly can't promise any help again (although, at a minimum, I could help w/ setup and instructions).
I have talked w/ Tim Buntel a bit about this. I'm certainly not in a position to make any promises for MACR, but I think if there _was_ interest, and if yall _expressed_ it nicely (grin), it may help the cause a bit. ======================================================================== === Raymond Camden, ColdFusion Jedi Master for Mindseye, Inc (www.mindseye.com) Member of Team Macromedia (http://www.macromedia.com/go/teammacromedia) Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Blog : www.camdenfamily.com/morpheus/blog Yahoo IM : morpheus "My ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is." - Yoda > -----Original Message----- > From: Geoff Bowers [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 8:21 AM > To: Spectra-Talk > Subject: Re: Spectra, the Final Frontier > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > Don't you think that all open source projects begin as a labour of > > love? > > Then enough smart & committed people take it forward into > something more. > > Absolutely!
