I have quite a few pingable devices (yes, I know, I wish SNMP was an option) in my 9.2H03 landscape. For some reason, when a pingable is unreachable it goes back into an initial state (blue) instead of turning read and dropping an alarm. I have also seen a case where a switch connected to a pingable and other SNMP devices goes down, and while the SNMP devices go into suppressed mode (grey), the pingables again go into the initial (blue) state. I don't think our 7.1 installation of Spectrum did this, but our 9.2 certainly is. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this behavior with pingable models? I would like to make it so that if a pingable has ever come out of initial (discovery) that it will either go red or suppressed depending on the cause of the unreachability.
