And it's *not* to prevent abuse. The reason is that it's plain *wrong* to allow an extra attempt just because you made a mistake. You didn't answer my question: What would you tell me if I asked for an extra attempt because I screwed up the OLL? And you say the fact that 12 people in 60 solves with the old rules (! !) not popping once (!) suggests we need to keep that rule? I don't understand. I see it the opposite way. Cheers!
