pppoatm is loaded (modprobe pppoatm), modem firmware i don't now 
excatly, i have installed it, do i have to do something to load it?
i am root yes, vpi/vci is 8.48 since i live in austria
im not sure aubout the user, in the files chap/pap secrets i didn't find 
something where i could enter the username
i'll show you a copy of the files that i have modified and the error
