I am trying to get an idea for the suspension of my car. I emailed Saturn Motorsports and got limited information and got no reply what so ever from XRC. I am looking for race only suspension ideas. I have a 92 SL (the body style is about the only thing stock left) and need something to get the power to the wheels without absorbing too much. I have heard that using the OEM struts for the rear, lifting up the rear to the desired height, and welding the sleeves of the strut open at that level is the latest thing. Has anyone heard of this working? Are there any other ideas about coil-overs, 800-1000lbs springs with KYBs? Of course money is some what of a factor but stiffness and power transfer are more important than cost. Again this is a RACE ONLY car that will never see the street again (hasn't in the last year) so I don't care if it's illegal for the street :)
