Kevin, in light of recent conversations with ob, im willing to just  bury the hatchet, we all need to move forward and I gave ob my word, he in turn was supposed to have sent all distributors a memo, did you receive it?
the official word from my camp is wait and see, simple, no flame wars and I could have answered the guys question without binging you into it, so for that I apologize to you and the list.
I leave in the middle of the night to head back to fl so I cannot respond, hopefully the white flag will be waving back when I open my emails, not to point fingers but if you recall you nailed me, if you didn't like my post in the beginning (back on xtreme) you could have put our friendship in front of it and remained neutral, either way, lets end it in the name of trying to help xrc recover from their start up troubles.

well said Scott, I have promised mike and ob to give them a second chance myself so I will refrain from comments,. Jeremy, we go way back and I hope none of what has been said recently affects our relationship, Mr. yutz, who used to write me DAILY asking for either free advice or just simply bothering me when I was working was not mature enough to see my side at all, knowing nothing about business he merely jumped to the side he felt most comfortable with and it was comments like what Kevin made to me, about me ,etc that dragged my "war" with xrc on  longer then anticipated, even ob was man enough to admit he made some mistakes, Kevin on the other hand just spouts off without knowing anything about anything, bad move in business, this man has a legit complaint/question.
so, with respect to xrc and having said my peace about Kevin I will comment on what I know, something advertised as 2.5 exhaust is SUPPOSED to be 2.5, not 2 and 1/4, not 2 and 3/8 but 2 and a 1/2, simple.
Kevin, im taking this opportunity to tell you flat out, you are immature, I had NEVER hurt you and you talked to me daily, yet instead of trying to truly help you blasted me and still do behind my back every chance you get, adding fuel to the fire does not resolve anything.
innovative advertising means NOTHING if you cant get the product to market, I now have someone in Texas who's only 20 years old and has an actual body kit complete and on there car, its  not that hard, and its certainly not that hard with all the support that was given them , money and deposit wise that is.
its nice to see the supporters rally around, I would expect no less from my friends, but when story's like this hit you don't blast the customer, especially if your one of the contacts for the company itself, Jeremy, please, refrain from getting mad at me, im  giving you advice here and if you truly want to help the situation respond to the customers problem.
now, as the customer said, lets NOT turn this into a flame war, if the product is not 2.5 inch and that's what was sold he needs to get a 2.5 inch or a refund, Mr. yutz, if you can help, by all means do so, but help means being able to get him the proper exhaust or refund.

Jeremy,

I think you need to look a little deeper into XRC before you make the statements that you have. There has been much published about what is going on with XRC and the problems that they are having.

Personally, I would be cautious about doing any business with XRC.

The Guys at XRC are creating NEW, INOVATIVE PRODUCTS that SPS could not FATHAM!  Whien is the last time SPS or saturn motorsports designed a new useful product?  XRC is designing body kits and all sorts of stuff.  But hey, if you guys dont want to support the ONLY company out there that is busting their asses left and right, and not caring about the profit, then SPS is where you should go.

Subject: [SPOC] XRC problems, please respone ASAP

This is not a flame, merely exactly what happened in my specific case.  Please, write back.  I was supposed to have my car ready for my show this weekend, so I ordered in march.  Ok, here're the details:

I ordered my XRC throttle body late march (either 2 or 3 weeks before the April 6th show) and got my throttle body 2 weeks ago after MUCH calling and hearing the same old story that they "forgot to send it, and it'll be out tomorrow."  Then, today I get what is supposed to be my 2.5" cat back.  I get everything ready for the shop tomorrow, and my exhaust doesn't fit the muffler!!!  After waiting almost 2 full months, I am short one throttle body core refund, and 1 exhaust system.  The small inlet on the pipes measures 2 1/8" and the larger end is 2 1/4".  NO WHERE does it get to be the exact 2.5" that my Dynomax (which JEGs shipped to me in 4 days) muffler is.  Has anyone else noticed these qualities in XRC's customer service?  Whenever I called, I never really got a straight answer and now my deadline is pretty much passed.  main things I need to know:

Is the XRC 2.5 inch cat back usually short up to 3/8" in diameter?

What I have is between 2 and 2.5 inches, what do I in fact have?

Should I just get everything else I need from SPS from now on?  They seem to be of a higher quality.

I plan on getting a turbo, should I just see if the shop can just adapt my whatever-the-hell-sized tubing to the muffler and go with it?  Or will another 2-3 months of calling and waiting be worth it to finally get the product I ordered?

Truely frustrated to wits end,
Reece
