It may be able to be done. You probably only need to drill a 1/4" hole or so for the stick to go through. But like I said, it's not really necessary. And may look silly with a tweeter and stick sticking out behind it.
Just roll down the window, and manualy adjust it. I think it would be too much work / effort for seldomly using the adjuster. Tell me how many times you've adjusted that mirror in the past year. If it's greater than 20 then I say go ahead and try it. I know for me I've only adjusted it 2-3 times since I put the tweeters in.
