I may scrap the idea...but I wash my car weekly and the drivers mirror
isn't as 'stiff' as the passenger one and needs readjusting each time
pretty much...I will get a spare trim panel and see.

What's are you guys using to cut the hole with?  I have a drill and
dremel.
