My tweeters are mounted there. I have a Polk component system and I didn't
have to cut or relocate anything. The tweeters are surface mounted directly
on the sail piece. The wires go from the crossover inside the door and up
into the hollow portion behind the sail piece. I guess yours and mine are
shaped differently since you have a '96 coupe and I have an '01 sedan.

Thanks, I am aware of the R&R, but was wondering if there is room to mount
the joystick to the pod still only closer to the windshield? I was
thinking taking the removed part and epoxying it in and reattaching the
joystick.

Any ideas on this? If it's been tried and failed I'd rather not waste
time when I have so much else to do.

Thanks

Chris
