hey Chris, drop me a line at my site, Ill be happy to share what i know, we just finished a motor for Todd actherberg, it started as our 160 hp package but through careful work and proper porting and polishing this motor is easily hitting 165 hp. Ill be at work till later tonight but Ill be happy to give you some inf. on what parts from what years work and what doesn't. hacking a few pos's in your driveway doesn't qualify you to be labeled an engine builder, heck, every one i build is still a learning experience to me. right now we are going to start experimenting with larger valves (i know, its been done using Nissan valves) we want to take a whole new route, ill keep you all posted as to what we find. the motor we just built is as follows 97 block, bottom end totally rebuilt using saturn bearings, seals, timing chain kit complete. total seal rings deck shaved head shaved 14 thousands to bump the comp up ported and polished like you couldn't imagine! extrude honed intake sps 52 mm t-body RADIUS valve job (i get qa kick out of these guys offering a 5 angle valve job, guess what bro, YOU CANT get a proper 5 angle on these, not enough room for them all to seat properly), a radius cut allows proper seating at all times flat top valves used Todd has a crapload of bolt ons such as the headers and other goodies. theres more but i have to run, drop me a note, Joeybaggs
