The Eibach springs really need a bit better than stock
dampening. I run the Eibach Sport/KYB GR-2 combo,
which is fairly economical and a good balance. If you
think you're going to eventually change both it would
be best to do them at the same time, as each
installation requires removal of the spring/strut
assembly, compression and separation of the spring
from the strut, compression and mating of the spring
to the strut, reinsallation of the spring/strut
assembly and a 4 wheel alignment. Speaking of which,
don't make the same mistake I did... When installing
the new springs and struts also install a set of
camber bolts. These will be much cheaper if you buy
and install them yourself, than if the alignment shop
discovers that they're needed and they provide the
part and installation.
