So Justin, now that your going to have the SL2 around
for a little bit longer, you are still a member of
SPOCNE and ECSP but don't have the money for
modifications would you be willing to let your car
become something of a club project? What I'm thinking
of is a project on how well a Saturn can be tuned for
the least amount of money and still look good. The
web sites for both SPOCNE and ECSP could both have
this as a sort of "how to" artical that gets updated
as nessary. We will not go with the ugly beater sort
of project that Sport Compact Car magazine has right
now but try to make your car look and perform as good
as possible for the least amount of money. If
possible we could use used (but in good condition)
parts from a junk yard. I know that Jeff (who came
down with us to Carlisle) has put together his own
rear drum to disk conversion from junked Saturns and
there was no difference in looks from mine which I had
gotten from SPS and installed myself. So please tell
me what you think about this. I already have more
ideas in mind since we will be working with what is
essentially a completely stock Saturn.
Tom
