OK - here is a subject where I would like some info:

How do you organize your slides?

These seem to be some of the more popular options:
1. By location (milepost locations or at least by towns), where dates are
mixed
2. By railroad, chronologically (BN photos chronologically with no emphasis
on location)

In some cases, there need to be rules on where to organize foreign trains, like:
a. trackage rights trains - BN on the Moffat, SP on the triple-track in Chicago
b. run-through trains - UP/SF trains on CR between Chicago and Elkhart, IN.

I'd like to hear opinions on how you do so, and why. For example, sorting
by railroad chronologically makes putting together a Marias Pass
presentation easy since you can start looking through the recent stuff
(which in my case is usually the better material), instead of wading through
the location-specific selections (which if you have alot of Marias Pass
material is a major pain in the ass - time-consuming).

I ask this since I am thinking of moving from option 1 to option 2.
