Buy Permacel or Bogen gaffers tape. The Pro-Gaff stuff is junk and will pull paint off and leave adhesive residue; the good stuff does not. I know this, I use this stuff every day. These tapes come in colors and different widths. This stuff is not cheap, buts it's very handy. In St. Louis, try Cine Services on Dale Avenue for the best prices.
