Further to the debate on batteries. I have been using rechargable AA nicads for years in my winders, flashes, pocket recorder, etc
I usually keep about twice as many as i really need around, and always drain them overnight before putting them in the charger (I use an old flash that I have.... no longer of any use with the cameras I have, and not worth selling). I always put a bit of tape on them to inscribe a date so I can check their life span. Ones I have in the camera bag now are all in excess of two years old, one pair from 1993 is still going strong. I seem to get about four years of use normally. Jim James / Kathleen Brock --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Opinions dictated to us by Sasha da'Bird and Ivan & Anna Bunny!!
