What little experience I have had with Astia, is that the contrast levels are slightly lower. You still get a fairly good color saturation, but images of NS and IC locomotives actually have some detail in doors and lines, and undercarriages. I have shot Provia to death, and really like it, although the results from Sensia are virtually the same. I would have no problem shooting the Astia, except for the extra two bucks per roll.
