What are you using for justification in that decision? As Greg said earlier--not arguing just looking for solid answers.
All we are asking ,(maybe we need to go for a formal interpretation), is for clarity - it makes a big difference in spacing, type of sprinkler, distance of deflector, etc. etc. This is something that needs to be cleared up for all to see and we can get on the same page w/ each other and the AHJ's.
