Interesting the committee, went with the 24'-0" min. This appears to be a rejection of the .6 x Sq root of the design area, when the design are has a reduction for QR heads. Didn't there used to be an allowance for open ceilings where we had to provide at least two branchlines of protection from the opening? Old age setting in CRS.(Like 1986 or so?)

Check out the 2009 Report on Proposals, Item 13-210, for a new paragraph 8.15.22.3, which it appears that the committee "accepted in principle". _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
