NFPA 1 Chapter 13 Fire Protection Systems Section 13.3.3.3 Inspection, Testing
and Maintenance... Where automatic sprinklers are installed, ceilings necessary
for the proper actuation of the fire protection device in accordance with NFPA
13 shall be maintained.

Sounds like someone should propose to have this language carried over to NFPA
25.

Subject: Ceiling Tiles or Lack thereof...

How is everyone handling missing ceiling tiles? Specifically I am seeing the
rooms completely without tiles, and the one with the sprinkler is left. I
assume with the thought that it will operate. Hopefully the fire starts
right next to those remaining tiles. A search of 25 leaves me no basis to
write it as a deficiency. Any thoughts or direction appreciated.
