ABSOLUTELY not? In our state (Ohio), our code references NFPA.
NFPA grants a lot of decision-making to the "AHJ"
Tough not to see a Building Commisioner as an AHJ. Tough also,
to get the building opened! I wonder how many other states have this
circular reference.
