There is little agreement between 72, 13 UMC/IMC, and the elevator guys about all this, but lots of contradictory rules. Going back to my question I don't know what an elevator control room is. Is it a big building with a command center? Is the elevator control panel in a separate room than the rest of the building control panels? Is it the hoist house and control/relay combination that is common? Just curious.
