B, "The air supply shall have a capacity capable of restoring normal air 
pressure in the system within 30 minutes", I'd imagine you already know, but 
the volume shown in the calcs isn't the amount of water (or air) in the pipe, 
it's the amount flowed through the system in one minute with the remote area 
flowing at the calculated density.

Ok, so for today here it is:

When sizing a system air compressor for a dry or preaction system you size it 
based on:

(a) the volume that is shown on the hydraulic calculation provides,

(b) a takeoff of the piping and determine volume of the entire system from the 
end head back to the system valve.
