B. Always size to the actual system pipe volume. This will be different from the gpm required in the calc, and I have found with both SprinkCAD and HydraCAD (don't know about MEPCAD or any others since I haven't worked with em) that the system volume given needs to be checked. They both provide an answer, but not necessarily always an accurate one.
