Forum,
How 'bout the thousands of nursing homes installed by this industry over the
past 50 years? Most located north of I-10 have dry pipe systems protecting
attic spaces with dry pendent heads below. All light hazard. How did that
happen? Have this AHJ produce chapter and verse. Good luck.

There is an annex section discouraging dry in warm rooms. Now I'd bet very
few areas are cold and light hazard. Well except attics. Ask how one does
an attic. I wonder if they are linking cold is not light usually. It's
annex so don't think I'm agreeing just thinking of something out of the box.

Better ask the AHJ for chapter and verse on that one cuz I'm pretty sure
that is not in there.

Good morning all,

I have a Local AHJ that is saying in NFPA 13, 2007 edition it states that
dry systems are not allowed in light hazard applications, does anyone have
an idea of where this is located?? I've looked through the standard a few
times and can't put my finger on anything close.

Thanks in advance
