One additional question also-
IS it QR or FR heads that need to be tested at 20 years/ every 10 thereafter?
Section 5.1.1.1.3 says fast response elements.
Maybe I'm missing something?

Subject: Re: Do normal yearly fire sprinkler inspections review for older heads?

It’s NOT part of the annual or the 5 yr. IT is part of the 20 yr for QR and 50
yr for SR. Technically there is no such thing as an annual inspection per NFPA
25. There are items with an annual frequency but it’s not uncommon to check
all items with a frequency up to 1 yr during that inspection. Having said
that, we had it as part of our old 5 year form just to ensure it was recorded
somewhere. It gets an N/A util the system is older.
