Just fun and anecdotal: I had an UG CPVC lead in rejected by the plumbing
inspector because. she didn't believe it was rated for 160psi because it
didn't say so on the pipe and she didn't care what the cut sheet said even
if rated for 175, that it had to say160 on the pipe. Then she said the
orange pipe was not approved for potable water because the orange came off
and dyed the water. She also didn't accept my comment that she was
inspecting something not in her jurisdiction. About that time the fire
inspector showed up and stated she was playing in the wrong pond. Before
the day was out THE FM and THE BO were both on site telling her to back
off.
