We calc 4 residential heads...that is the section it is under and therefore
meets the letter of the law in my honest opinion. If res heads are used in
the corridor we do exactly what Travis suggests and pick up the remaining
heads in the corridor and check the adjacent rooms as well until we find
the 4 most demanding in a reasonable adjacent area. Since they do not
differentiate between compartments sometimes you end up flowing very
demanding sidewalls from 2 adjacent rooms. Honestly it often does not
change pipe sizes anyway but they are the most demanding.

My 2 cents worth - better safe than sorry with the differences we usually
see being so small.
