Using extended coverage pendent heads & have a soffit/reveal that is 60" wide and runs the length of the wall and sticks down 3" from the ACT. The heads are far enough away from the edge of the soffit/reveal to through under it and reach the wall no problem. But if I'm reading things right since this soffit/reveal is along a wall I have to apply either 8.8.5.1.2 (b/c) NNFPA-13 2013) which would require heads under it as well correct? Just seems like an overkill to me.
