Rachid, NFPA 2001-22 states that before putting the system in service, pipes shall be inspected to verify tightness of fittings, adequate pipe support, bracing, and that nozzles have been installed according to their orientation.
After that, piping shall be pressure-tested in a close circuit using nitrogen or other dry gas (10.4.14). The pipe shall be pressurized to at least 40 psi (10.4.14.1). After removing the source of pressurizing gas, the pressure in the pipe shall not be less than 80 percent of the test pressure after 10 minutes. (10.4.14.2) The pressure test shall be permitted to be omitted if the total piping contains no more than one change in direction fitting between the storage container and the discharge nozzle and if all piping has been physically checked for tightness. (10.4.14.3) A flow test using nitrogen or an inert gas shall be performed on the piping network to verify that flow is continuous. (10.4.15). Hoping this could be of help to you. Best!
