Would not a "scan playlist only" scan be acceptable ? If you intend to play it with LMS it must know of the playlist , scan it and add it to the dB afaik you are not using the actual playlist , but a database view created from the playlist when using LMS . Hopefully Michael finds out that I'm wrong :) and some sort of solution with LMS 7.9 ability to handle temporary files can be used. Open temporary playlist with the bmf view . Or drag and drop them into the web UI ? You can now drag and drop files to the web UI for playback and the will not be added to the dB . Wonder if you can drop a playlist to the web UI and use the temporary file handling feature this way ? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
