I don't know what you mean when you write about 'untagged' files. ALl
my files are fully tagged flacs in the database. It is just the
playlist that is new, and created from outside LMS because I can do
things that LMS can't, such as create randomised playlists from a subset
of flacs.
The rescan includes several steps as shown below. Adding Custom Scan
just makes it (very) much worse.
