? I used this (playlist) for speeding my rescan - it doesnt need several minutes just some seconds. Something with your Setup must be very strange.... Adding a new Playlist (take a look@ your log) is only looking to playlists that "never" as the former scanned playlist or new from scratch. Coverart & database "optimization" is always required when adding new files with coverart. Do you use untagged files and lms has to guess the tags?
