Thanks!  Will try all that as two separate experiments.  Will do the
present Alarm issue first, just in case.  And then over the next few
days will log the various streams.  I suspect my LAN (Freebox, here in
Paris) which is ultra-quick fibre into the apartment and utter cr*p wifi
within the apartment (with no real option to ethernet the radio)......
