The essential codec haven't change. They are lossless which means after a change the input file after compressed, then decompessed is an exact bit copy. By the same token, the DTS file users which have been compressed by another version, haven't had problems after been decoded by players or when decoded back into a bit stream. There is no evidence that the changes in the codec and decodecs have affected the bit stream after the compression/decompression cycle - they are lossless and exact bit copies even across versions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113362 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
