I'm using 6.3.0. > I haven't learned yet about SoftSqueeze being new here. Does SoftSqueeze > give you access to streams though a newwork meaning that PC doesn't need > to be on ? No, with SoftSqueeze you definitely need the computer on because it's a computer program. :-) You don't have to have your SlimServer computer on though, but you do need to run SoftSqueeze on a computer. >From SlimServer, you should be able to run it just by going to Help - SoftSqueeze. This will check if you have the right version of Java installed and the next checkbox will check for a new SoftSqueeze version, download a new one if required, and run it. You can do this from any PC that's able to access SlimServer. SoftSqueeze is available separately but I find this is the easiest way to run it. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26642 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
