I work for a company that sells boxes with LMS on them and we rely on our users being able to add their players to MySqueezebox.com so they can subscribe to services like Pandora and SiriusXM. Generally we use MAC addresses from the motherboard, but sometimes people forget their account and need a new MAC address.
