No, you've all misundertood my query. Squirrelmail provides a Debian package 
of the stable version of Squirrelmail on their page here:

When I discovered that Debian's testing release had decided to upgrade to the 
1.5 series I then used the Squirrmail packaged version instead. This is still 
only at 1.4.2. Konstantin Ryabitsev has been good enough to provide 1.4.3a 
RPM packages for RedHat, but Sam Johnston hasn't provided 1.4.3a deb 
packages. I was asking when/if they might be made available from Squirrelmail 
themselves, not Debian.
