There are too problems here.

- Folders like Inbox/temp have no indication of amount on unread mails like, temp (2) Only Inbox has that &
Options->Folder Preferences->Enable Unread Message Notification->All Folders
- I can see the mail in Inbox/temp as well as Inbox. Why?
Check your logs. Turn on PHP error display or use Debugger plugin. Post more information ala
