That's a 2' (600mm) gauge loco, Dave, are you leaving it at 45mm or converting it to 32mm gauge? Since it's cosmetic, some mild steel sheet and a file would be the first suggestion. To my eye it looks like standard Walschaerts (sp?) valve gear, so the geometry is well known. Dockstaeder's (sp?) valve gear program should give you all you need, if you can plug in a few starter dimensions. I have drawings of several similar (but not limited clearance) locos from museums in Poland - if you want scans of the drawings, let me know. >What could the original colors be?
