For what you are doing 96 MB is FINE. For a test open the applications you would like to run most of the time, for me thats Eudora and Netscrap, with maybe my news reader too. Now go to the desktop and under the apple menu select about this mac to see how much of your 96 MB of memory you are actually using. Extra memory you don't use is money wasted. For less money you could add a video card and really see some speed increases. -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
