Ok, I bought a StarMax for my mom who basically uses her computer for Email, Internet browsing some Excel and word processing.
the thing seems pretty speedy, i initialized the drive , reinstalled up to system 8.6 , added a usb port, bought her a optical mouse... and got a global village serial modem (havent got that yet....) My question is....should I install some Ram ?? I have 96 right now. also the cache is 512k Level2.... what would be the best investment...the cache or the ram...??? she has a 2gb drive, but it also has a zip and a 1 GB jaz so I figured the 2 GB might do her. Would like everyones feedback...Im aftraid I might go overboard!!
